About AL-KO Automotive

Products from our AL-KO Automotive department get you on the road safely. We are a high-performance and expert supplier to the automotive industry, and our customers consider us to be a reliable partner. At the same time, we are a German premium-systems-supplier in the metal processing, hinge technology and kinematic systems sector. In the AL-KO Automotive business division, we bring together the technical knowledge of our metal processing experts from Mettec Group as well as the hinge technology specialist PRINZ Kinematics.

METTEC GROUP

Treuenbrietzen site

At the Treuenbrietzen site, over 180 employees process various metal products for our Kohl Automotive GmbH company division. This Brandenburg-based company covers the entire range of processing and treatment of metals. It is a systems supplier offering bundled expertise, from planning and design of tools, through their construction and testing, to production and further processing.

Mettec Group

Eisenach site

At the Eisenach site, our range of services comprises recasting technology, joint technology and pipe processing. In the Kohl Automotive GmbH plant in Thuringia, there are around 250 skilled and committed employees with many years of experience in the production of sheet metal parts using up to 16,000 kN of pressing force, as well as in the production of welded assemblies and pipe processing.

PRINZ KINEMATICS

Stromberg site

The Stromberg site is home to over 180 employees of Prinz Kinematics GmbH. The range of services offered by this hinge specialist at the German site comprises pressing, pipe bending, machining, welding, and the assembly and development of hinges for global automotive construction.
