AL-KO Plastics Technology is full of product development know-how (expertise).

 

• In-house construction and development
• In-house tool making with link to equipment construction at headquarters to produce tailored equipment and machinery. Development and construction is defined by the customer's demands - documented by Sales and Distribution and project management - using specification sheets (DIN ISO 9001 certified process). Communication and making joint decisions with the customer plays a vital role. In the next stage, the components and tools are designed as 3D models or drawings. One of our requirements is that it must be possible to create the components using a cost-effective and suitable tool. We use SAP to archive, manage and maintain the diagrams and to provide production documents.
• AL-KO Plastics Technology uses all of the most common systems to exchange data with its customers. We use Catia V4, V5, ProE, Ideas and, of course, all of the standard data exchange formats, such as Iges, Step, VDA, Acis and Parosolid. As a further benefit to our customers, all of the 3D design data for the components can be used for subsequent work on processing machines using CAM software (Tebis Mastercam).
